Dr. John R. Olds, P.E.

Dr. John Olds is founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of SpaceWorks Engineering, Inc. As CEO, Dr. Olds has responsibility for the strategic position of the firm, including overall management, initiation of partnerships, contract negotiation, and overall firm organizational structure.

He has been with the firm since 2000. Prior to founding SEI, Dr. Olds was professor of Aerospace Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA. He has over 20 years of experience in the aerospace industry including positions at General Dynamics' Space Systems Division and North Carolina State University's Mars Mission Research Center.

Ms. Melinda S. Olds

Chief Financial Officer

Ms. Melinda Olds is co-founder of SpaceWorks Engineering Inc. and currently serves as the firm's part-time Chief Financial Officer. As CFO, she is responsible for many of the financial and business operations of the company including management of payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. She is also responsible for the purchase of SEI's capital equipment.

Ms. Olds has been with the firm since 2000 and continues to be one of the firm's Directors and stockholders. Prior to co-founding SEI, she held teaching positions in Hampton, VA, Raleigh, NC, and Huntsville, AL. She also serves as part-time Chief Financial Officer for Pi Blue Software, Inc.

Dr. John E. Bradford

SpaceWorks Engineering

Dr. John Bradford is President of SpaceWorks Engineering, a division of SEI. As President, Dr. Bradford oversees the day-to-day operations of the office, manages the engineering staff and task assignments, and is the primary interface for all business with the U.S. Air Force.

Upon joining the firm in 2001, he held the title of Director of Hypersonics. In 2004, he was named President of the Engineering Division. Prior to joining SEI, Dr. Bradford had prior work experience at GenCorp Aerojet in Sacramento, CA and NASA Marshall Space Flight Center. His technical area of expertise is in advanced propulsion systems for space access.

Mr. A.C. Charania

SpaceWorks Commercial

Mr. A.C. Charania is President of SpaceWorks Commercial, a division of SEI. Mr. Charania works with entrepreneurial and established aerospace clients to explore future commercial opportunities and to develop businesses to service those markets. He also champions and incubates SpaceWorks-led ventures. As head of SpaceWorks Commercial, he is an advocate for and analyst of commercial space markets, venture-driven space initiatives, and international space activities.

Mr. Charania has been with the firm since 2000. He was previously Senior Futurist and head of the Engineering Economic Group (EEG) of SpaceWorks Engineering.
